Swing music is the protagonist of the sixth round of Gipsy Live, when Hot Sunny Swing will perform on Saturday 10th August.
Last stop for the review that for almost two months made via San Sebastiano the musical fulcrum of the historic center, as it was at its origins, when the famous street was called the street of musicians.
A long sonic journey started on June 5th with the fiery electronic Balkan punk live by the French Tuspareik, followed by the Brazilian tradition of Conjunto Choro, the elegant counting live of Tomo Tomo, passing through the carioca rhythms of the Samba Duo up to the exciting perfomance by Olga Show and the dances of Sabrina Severino last Saturday when Naples was a thousand colors for Pride.
Hot Sunny Swing was born from the meeting of Vincenzo Ciorra and Francesco Di Maulo, in a sunny summer afternoon, on the Naples seafront, between a piece by Duke Ellington and one by Count Basie. Their reporting moves on swing, jazz standard and manouche rhythms.
Accompanying them the splendid voice of Valeria Collà Ruvolo, a multifaceted singer with a clear and enveloping timbre.
To color the magic notes the circus artist"Lele '", Elena Cavaliere, a show between humor, mime and a lot of juggling.
